Kinds
Cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks are just among the different types of forklift trucks manufactured by Clark. The different types differ in terms of the way they are powered. Like for instance, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle types designed to be utilized in warehouses and other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
Based on the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can differ. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC models are suggested. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are utilized to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustible engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC models have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame includes the fuel tank, engine, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
