Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with various other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined areas during construction and industrial applications. The Z-135/70 model has a telescoping jib, known as the Jib-Extend, which goes from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. The Z-80/60 model's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature allows over and up reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
