Narrow aisle forklifts function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale features the single reach NR and the double reach NDR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has various stance and control handle configurations and utilize best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a range of operations and the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options too.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers powerful deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been designed for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly improve the overall throughput and production.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering could reduce battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: In order to greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort in order to decrease operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also called order pickers. These machines are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are usually guided by wire or rail when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
